Ōpunake Power Ltd resource consent applications - March-April 2020
Ōpunake Power Ltd has applied to renew seven resource consents and for one new consent, relating to the operation of the Opunake Hydroelectric Power Scheme located adjacent to the Opunake township.
Submissions must be received no later than 14 April 2020.
Submissions must be made on Form 13, available as an online form or as a downloadable PDF to be filled in manually:
Written submissions can be mailed to Taranaki Regional Council, Private Bag 713, Stratford 4352 or emailed to email@example.com.
The submission must be dated and signed (unless submitted by electronic means), and include the following information:
- Name and contact details (including email) of person making the submission.
- Details of the application you are submitting on, including application number, applicant name, and location.
- Your submission, with the reasons you are making it.
- The decision you seek and the nature of any conditions you seek.
- Whether you wish to be heard in support of your submission.
Any person may make a submission on the application, but a person who is a trade competitor of the applicant may do so only if that person is directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the application relates that:
(a) adversely affects the environment; and
(b) does not relate to trade competition or the effects of trade competition.
A copy of every submission must also be served as soon as reasonably practicable on the applicant (Send to 13 Verona Place, Stratford 4332 or email firstname.lastname@example.org). This is the responsibility of the person lodging the submission.
