I guess you hardly had time to catch your
breath and are now back on the job facing
another important term. At least you have the
prospect of better weather, but we all know
that is no certainty.
Congratulations to the 78 Taranaki schools

You may think that your little bit of waste can’t harm
the environment but there are many other people in the
region carrying out activities similar to yours. Your
waste when combined with that of many others can
amount to a significant amount of pollution occurring
every day of the year. The cumulative effects of
combined discharges can cause serious damage to our
environment and must be prevented.

opposed to using this as the basis for defining the area within which we
should consider the peak off-site effects, I consider that it may have been

If there is one topic that nearly everyone feels
comfortable to talk about, it is the weather.
This looks at our weather, how the CouncilSITE
monitors and records it, where weather forecasts
can be found and how, to some degree, the
weather affects almost everything we do.
On Thursday 29 October, the Council will be holding its annual environmental awards presentation
to
open on Friday 15 July 2016 and must be made on the appropriate nomination paper for each position, available
from the relevant Electoral Officer. Nomination papers are also available from the offices of each local authority (as shown below), or online at:
