was potentially leaking, staff advised that this would be investigated in summer.
Ngatoro G: the ring drain had been redefined and metal placed alongside it to help filter sediment.
Kaimiro Production Station and Ngatoro-A: Heavy, persistent rain and strong winds had proceeded the
inspection and it was noted that the stormwater system on both sites was working well. All stormwater was
being collected and directed for treatment prior to discharge from the site. The sites were tidy and
inspection it was noted that the pedestrian entrances to the shed now had a protected
doorway porch to prevent wind and rain from entering the shed.
During each inspection a sample of the stream was obtained. The samples were clean and clear with no
sheen or odour, iron oxide is naturally present in the stream. There was no discharge from the stormwater
system to sample during any of the inspections.
At the time of each inspection the Company were operating in compliance with their resource
Rules 35 and 36 of the RFWP do not include any matters of
control that expressly allow for the consideration of matters such as those expressed in the NPS-FM objective.
Given that the Council can only consider policies that relate to the matters over which the Council has
reserved control through the plan itself, the Council is unable to take into account matters that fall outside this
scope.
In terms of the notification assessment and when deciding whether a person is an affected person, the
were markedly improved on the approach to the Piopio South Passing Lane, and
hazardous poplar trees were removed on outside of same curve.
Example - Awakino Gorge Guardrail (2006)
The guardrail was installed at the location of a number of crashes, and protects the corner for a distance
of approximately 400m. There was also some replacement of square kerbing with radial.

trap, near the Firewater Pond. The carpark area project was on-going and a digger was working by burial pit.
The entrance to the old dairy factory on Old Normanby Road had traces of left over burial pit product in
front of the entrance. TBP staff were advised that this needed attention, as it was forming a crust and heavy
rain would likely cause it to discharge to the drain. A discussion was had about the importance of having
underground drain plans and these were again

3.2 Results
3.2.1 Inspections
08 December 2020
An inspection was undertaken to assess compliance with the wastewater discharge consent. A prolonged
period of rain occurred prior to the inspection. The yard was relatively clean and tidy. No evidence of spills.
The discharge of stormwater onsite into the roadside drain looked much improved from the last inspection.
A sample of the settling pond discharge into the wetland was unable to be collected due to a new
