Executive summary
The Tawhiti Stream catchment, east of Hawera, is the location of several industries that include an abattoir

1.1.1 Introduction
This report is for the period July 2022 to June 2023 by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) on the
monitoring programme associated with resource consents held by Todd Petroleum Mining Company Ltd
(Todd Petroleum). Todd Petroleum operates the Kapuni Production Station situated on Palmer Road,
Kapuni, together with its associated wellsites.
The report includes the results and findings of the monitoring
2023 by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) on the
monitoring programme associated with resource consents held by Osflo Fertiliser Ltd (the Company). The
Company operates a chicken litter storage facility which is situated at 1319 Mountain Road, Inglewood, in
the Waiongana catchment.

respect of the consents held by the Company that relate to discharges of water within the Waiongana
