F Kiddle gave an update on the initial analysis on opportunities to improve the freshwater
management regime.
L Hawkins provided clarification on the values that define an

Executive summary
The Oaonui Water Supply Ltd (OWSL) operates a rural water supply scheme located on Arawhata Road at
Oaonui, in the Oaonui catchment. Water is abstracted from the stream via a gravity fed intake situated
behind a large weir. The water flows via a settling pond to a small treatment shed where it is chlorinated
before being distributed to rural customers. At
