reduced to one flare. The flare continuously burns fuel gas as a purge to prevent air ingress to the flare
system (thus avoiding an explosion risk) and to maintain a pilot flame at the flare tip.

Telecom site on Taumatamaire Road went live in March 2013, improving coverage along
the Awakino Gorge. Telecom currently have no plans to expand coverage at Mount
Messenger, with the challenging topography and lack of existing infrastructure making it
difficult to form a business case to do so.
Access to the Maui gas pipeline
The Maui gas pipeline, which runs from the Maui production station at Oaonui in Taranaki to the
Huntly Power Station in Waikato, feeds gas to much of
the Sidewinder wellsite into the Piakau Stream

Plymouth District Council and the Taranaki Regional Council have agreed upon a long-term maintenance and
development programme for the ten years from 2015/2016 to 30 June 2025. The Taranaki Regional Council provided
the annual funding of $2,178,669 to the Taranaki Stadium Trust.
Asset management planning for Yarrow Stadium is on hold while the repair and refurbishment project is delivered.
