Taranaki provided a presentation updating members on Venture Taranaki activities.

Get monitoring predators
It’s interesting and useful to discover what
predators are in your area before you start
your trapping programme. This information
can help guide where best to place your traps.
Once you are up and running, it’s good to
monitor for predators every six months or so
to know what predators are still around

Russell Matthews had a strong vision, a sense of style and a good eye for landscaping.
Mary Matthews had strong links to the Presbyterian Church in New Plymouth, taught for many years at New
Plymouth Girls’ High School and had a strong empathy for the ‘needy’.
The Matthews residence was the venue for many social gatherings.
Sustainability was a key component of the buildings construction.
The gardens and buildings have had an interesting history
maintenance contract for the Stratford District Council. The previous
contract (3+1+1) was replaced after three years with a 3+2+2 (seven)
year contract. This was not due to the performance of the incumbent
contractor, but more to align multiple contracts within the Council, (3-
waters, building maintenance, open space maintenance and security), all
of which expired on 30 June 2019. Council’s intention, at that time, was

to build on the work that was done in this project.

A meeting was held on Monday 5 March 2018 with Boon Goldsmith Bhaskar
Brebner Team Architects on the Prospero Place development. The aim is to
