was in place and plants purchased form Council were on site
for this purpose. The monitoring of this last section of reinstatement was undertaken
by Council land management department which reports that the works had been
completed and that further plantings had been undertaken at various places around
the site. A copy of the riparian plan map is attached as Appendix II.
Overall the site was managed well and the extensive quarry reinstatement plantings
have continued.

'Not Threatened' or Less Reduced and Better Protected nationally

Taranaki, Singers & Lawrence). A small, unmapped component of
the area is kahikatea, pukatea swamp forest, WF8.
Limited. In particular, Dr Buckland contributed to appendices on background
information on dioxins, historical soil investigations and international soil guidelines.
Taranaki Regional Council (Brian Calkin and Gary Bedford) assisted with the site selection
process by carrying out preliminary site inspections and interviewing owners. New
