Executive summary
This is the Quarterly Operational Report (QOR) for the three months ended 31 December 2020. The purpose of a QOR is to
present a snapshot of the Council progressing through the delivery of the programme of activities agreed to in that year’s
annual plan or long-term plan. It is designed to give a feel for how the Council is progressing and the forecast for the rest of the
year.

Equipment Lists and Resources
Emergency Operations Centre
The Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) location is dependent on the location and
magnitude of the spill.
The EOC could be established:
close by the spill site;
within Taranaki Regional Council’s office at 47 Cloten Road, Stratford; or
at the Taranaki Emergency

The Council’s monitoring programme for the year under review included four compliance monitoring
inspections of the site focussing on types of materials discharged, stormwater and leachate control, and
emissions to air.
The monitoring during the period under review showed that the closing of the site to the general public
resulted in no unacceptable material being dumped on site. There were no issues noted relating to
stormwater or odour. …

region. The decisions by regional council should be guided directly by all
local Iwi's not by one elected councillor who may not respect there views or
the views of the rest of the area.

Ecological Features
Flora
The forest canopy is dominated by tawa, kohekohe and puriri, with occasional individuals or small
stands of rewarewa, pukatea and titoki. The understory is dominated by kawakawa, with a mix of other
species including kanono, pate, pigeonwood, mahoe and tree ferns. Ground cover ferns and seedlings
