1.1.1 Introduction
This report is for the period July 2018 to June 2019 by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) on the
monitoring programme associated with resource consents held by Value Timber Ltd (the Company). The
Company operates a wood waste disposal site situated on Bristol Road at Inglewood, in the Waitara
catchment.

Village, in
the Waiongana catchment. The quarry has been operating since 2004 and the cleanfill has

Waitara, in the Waitara River catchment. This report for the period July 2017 to June 2018
describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess
ANZCO’s environmental and consent compliance performance during the period under review. The report
also details the results of the monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of ANZCO’s
activities.
ANZCO holds two resource consents, which include a total of 11 conditions setting out
July 2013-June 2014 by the Taranaki Regional
Council on the monitoring programme associated with resource consents held by Firth
Industries (Glover Road, Hawera), Allied Concrete (Mould Street, Waitara) and Fletcher
Concrete and Infrastructure Limited (Mountain Road, Stratford). These companies operate
concrete batching plants.
Firth Industries (a division of Fletcher Concrete and Infrastructure Limited) operates a
concrete batching plant located on Glover Road Hawera, in the Tangahoe
Pohutukawa wellsites located between Hawera and Patea in South Taranaki. Each wellsite contains varying
numbers of producing wells and associated production infrastructure. This report for the period July 2017 to
June 2018 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the
Council) in relation to the Company’s deep well injection (DWI) activities. The report details the results of
the monitoring undertaken, assesses the Company’s environmental performance during the
