ANZCO holds three resource consents, which include a total of 19
saline groundwater into the Tikorangi and Matemateaonga Formations. The consents
include a number of special conditions, setting out specific requirements with which
the Company must comply.

during the period under review, and outlines their DWI activities during this period.

South Taranaki District Council (STDC) operates seven municipal oxidation pond systems
within the district of South Taranaki. This report addresses performances of four of these
oxidation ponds' systems, located in the Waverley, Kaponga, Manaia and Patea townships1.
This report for the period July 2014-June 2015 describes the monitoring programme
implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the STDC’s
environmental performance during the period under review, and the
Regional Council (the Council) adopted a water
management plan for the river in September 1991.
At the end of the 2014-2015 monitoring period a total of 21 consents were held by the 13
industries monitored under this programme that discharge wastewater, stormwater and/or
leachate from the industrial area at Fitzroy, New Plymouth to the lower Waiwhakaiho River
and Mangaone Stream, or to land in the lower Waiwhakaiho and Mangaone Stream
