Environmental performance is concerned with actual or likely effects on the receiving environment from the
activities during the monitoring year. Administrative performance is concerned with STDC’s approach to
demonstrating consent compliance in site operations and management including the timely
its approach and that of
consent holders to resource management and, ultimately, through the refinement of
methods and considered responsible resource utilisation, to move closer to achieving
sustainable development of the region’s resources.

Farmers’ behaviour prior to stock being transported influences the amount of
analysis of sediment cores can give insight into both the drivers
and rates of environmental change over time. In this project, the sediment core analytics
being utilised can reconstruct a lake’s environmental history as far back as 1,000 years
ago. The full range of monitoring carried out at each lake is summarised in Table 2.
