4 Results
During the 2018-2019 bathing season, sampling was generally confined to weekdays, with no statutory
holidays included. For these reasons, recreational usage of the waters at the time was generally less
intensive,
extent of compliance by the consent holders,

environmental and administrative performance. The interpretations for these ratings are found in
Appendix II.
For reference, in the 2021-2022 year, consent holders were found to achieve a high level of environmental
performance and
landfill will be required by 2030. These changes are expected to provide households with
consistency across the country and reduce confusion about what is recycled resulting in
higher recycling rates and related reduction in landfill waste and associated emissions.

below 260. Because storm events in particular can lead to a transient high count due to faecal runoff and/or
wastewater overload, it is logical to have a rating system that considers the possibility of such extreme
measures and focuses on the anticipated range of measurements when swimming is likely.
In order to ensure an overall low level of risk for swimming in a
discussing the various details of the performance and extent of compliance by NPDC, this report
also assigns them a rating for their environmental and administrative performance during the period under
review.

Wastewater Treatment Plant (see Appendix II; TRC 2007). This was updated further in
May 2008 together with the Management Plan for the Hector Place pumping station.
