2.5 A discussion was held around rates relief/remission and although New Plymouth
District Council have indicated that they are offering no penalties on rates it has been
made clear to the public that this is only for the New Plymouth District Council portion of
their rates. Communication lines between the all the Taranaki councils are open and none
of the councils have indicated any issues.

arrived, however the rate of application was insufficient to reduce the dust discharge
