Executive summary
Beach Energy Resources NZ (Kupe) Ltd (the Company) operates a hydrocarbon production station located
on Inaha Road at Manaia, in the Inaha and Kapuni catchments. The Kupe Production Station processes oil
and gas from the offshore Kupe wells.
This report for the period July 2022 to June 2023 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the
Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the Company’s environmental and

3.4 The lack of progress on the SH3 Waitara to Bell Block safety improvements is of concern
to all councils throughout the Region as this is a major road with significant ongoing
safety issues.
Recommended
That the Taranaki Regional Council:
a) receives and adopts the Regional Land Transport Plan for Taranaki 2015/16-
2020/21: Annual Monitoring Report for 2019/20
b) notes that annual monitoring and
coast from Kaihihi Road to Stent Road, where finger like lahar deposits form
offshore reef systems, creating a high concentration of quality surf breaks.

[4] Craddock Farms' present operation at Coulston Road in Pukekohe East has
operated since 1962 and, as currently configured, has a maximum of 160,000 layer

Variation request: Add new project - Upgrade of rail level crossing at Nukumaru
Station Road.
Background to variation request
Due to the proposed Nukumaru Station Road with the associated increased in traffic volume
across the existing rail level crossing, Kiwirail has requested for a Level Crossing Safety Impact
Assessment (LCSIA) to be carried out. The Safety Review Team (SRT) has identified
improvements to the rail level crossing to reduce the risk score to an
