associated with resource consents held by Greymouth Petroleum Ltd (GPL). GPL
operates the Kaimiro Production Station situated on Upland Road at Inglewood, in the Waiongana
catchment. The associated Ngatoro-A satellite site is located on Upper Dudley Road at Inglewood, in the
Waitara catchment. A further 20 wellsites are monitored annually in conjunction with the Kaimiro Production
Station. Radnor Production Station is also operated by GPL and is located on Radnor Road in Midhirst in the
Patea
located off
Lower Manutahi Road at Manutahi, South Taranaki, in the Mangaroa catchment.
This report for the period July 2016 to June 2017 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the
Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess WRS’s environmental and consent compliance
performance during the period under review. The report also details the results of the monitoring
undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of their activities.
WRS holds one resource consent, which
components, mainly by distillation. The
production station supplies natural gas to the national grid and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is transported
off-site by road tankers. Condensate is piped to storage tanks at Omata.
Facilities at the Maui Production Station include: an administration building and workshop which
accommodates the control room on the upper floor; glycol trains and oil heaters located in the north west
portion of the site; fractionation trains, gas trains and compressor houses;

Green vegetative wastes Greenwaste including lawn clippings, tree prunings etc. Greenwaste is
the main bulking agent, as it has the correct carbon to nitrogen ratio for
optimal composting. It is sourced from greenwaste collection services in
Taranaki and the Colson Road Transfer Station.
Sawdust Untreated sawdust is used as a bulking agent, predominantly for the
drilling waste streams, however it will also be used to ensure the correct
carbon/nitrogen ratio is achieved in the composting of
holidays)
