Energyworks Ltd 9962-1 To discharge stormwater via the New Plymouth District Council reticulated stormwater
system into
production station and
adjacent wellsite, located on Lower Otaraoa Road at Motunui in the Waipapa and Manu
catchments. This report for the period July 2015 to June 2016 describes the monitoring
programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the
Company’s environmental performance during the period under review. The report also
details the results of the monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of the
Company’s activities.
The Company holds a
approximately 1.5 ha of land adjacent to the New Zealand Oil Services Limited storage facility
(Figure 2).

The southern part of the site includes two hydrocarbon storage tanks. The northern part of the site, along
the road frontage, includes a tanker unloading building, staff facilities and the stormwater treatment system.
The stormwater treatment oil separator has a capacity of 9.6 m3. Stormwater directed to the treatment
system
(SDC) operates a municipal wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) located on
Victoria Road at Stratford, in the Patea catchment. This report for the period July 2017 to June 2018
describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess
SDC’s environmental and consent compliance performance during the period under review. The report also
details the results of the monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of SDC’s activities.

Executive summary
Todd Generation Taranaki Ltd (the Company) operates the McKee Power Plant on Otaraoa Road near
Tikorangi, bridging the Waitara and Onaero catchments. Located to the south of the McKee Production
Station (which processes oil and gas from the McKee and Mangahewa groups of wellsites), the McKee
Power Plant was completed and commissioned during the 2012-2014 period. The 100 MW electricity
generating facility provides both peak and base load power for the
