Mr G Bedford introduced Abby Matthews, Director –
and boundaries of constituencies. Key considerations include the ratio of population to members and ensuring communities of interest are fairly represented. After considering a wide range of options the Council agreed the current 11 members provided logical, consistent representation. It also wanted to keep the general constituency boundaries aligned, as far as possible, with district council boundaries. Under its proposal there will be one elected member from a region-wide Māori constituency,
the lookout for ways to do things better, faster or
smarter and be an active participant in the continuous improvement culture.
Be digitally savvy – Understand and be competent in the use of digital technologies relevant
to your role, including processing and storage of Council information in line with relevant
policies.
Emergency planning and response – Where required, participate in emergency management
training exercises and support Council during an emergency management
memorandum titled Changes to the duration of freshwater consents
b) noted that upon Royal Ascent of the Natural and Built Environment Act, the
maximum duration for "affected resource consents" related to freshwater under
the Resource Management Act 1991 will be five years after the estimated date upon
which relevant rules in the region's first Natural and Built Environment Plan

The Marfell Community Garden is a Sustainable Taranaki project that started last November on New Plymouth District Council reserve land, with the support of Mitre 10 Mega. Every second Sunday, people of all ages and backgrounds gather to work in the garden – which has come a long way in a short time. And it’s not just the kids who are excited by the skink discovery. discharge was the result of a technical issue where there was a defence in law.
