2.1.2.2 Type II
A medium sized spillage of hydrocarbons or hazardous substances which cover an area greater
than 200 sq metres and/or enters the perimeter drains requiring some minor outside assistance.
• Attempt to stop spillage - conduct preventative earthworks if necessary
• Raise site alarm - report immediately to Site Manager/General Manager Operations
• Apply absorbents
