Executive summary
Greymouth Petroleum Limited established a
resource
management processes and our other decision-
making and environmental management processes
• working with iwi/hapū and other key regional
stakeholders to advance development and
implementation of the new regional spatial strategy,
the natural and built environment plan for the region
and the national policy statements for freshwater
management and indigenous biodiversity
• exploring opportunities for increased Māori
involvement in our wider decision-making and
health and fitness levels, encouraging a sense of exploration and adventure, as well as
stimulating and inspiring a love of the outdoors.
The development of a Regional Walkways and Cycleways Strategy for the Taranaki region
demonstrates a strong commitment to increasing tourism opportunities, improving access and
mobility, improving public health and promoting more sustainable modes of transport. It also
promotes integration and co-ordination amongst the many organisations involved in

Enviroschools Taranaki
Over the last few years we have been working with our funding partners to firm up what Enviroschools
looks like in Taranaki. All three District Councils have increased their funding and Taranaki Regional
Council in turn has similarly also increased support for the kaupapa.
During this time of change we also mihi to Toi Foundation who kept
regarding hydrocarbon exploration and production in Taranaki,
the DWI process and its history within region can be found in previous
compliance reports published by the Council (see Bibliography).
1.3 Resource consents
The Company holds six resource consents the details of which are summarised
in the table below. One consent was varied during the reporting period.
Consent 1315-1.2 was amended to extend the injection timeframe by a further
12 months and to change the consent purpose, to allow
