The Predator Free Field Technician is responsible for working collaboratively and cohesively within
the Predator Free team to carry out field activities associated with the Towards Predator Free

for resource consent to allow for the construction of a new rock revetment supporting a shared
pathway for public access at Weld Road Reserve, Tataraimaka and replacement bridge above
Whenuariki Stream.

Predator Free Field Coordinator
Purpose | Te arotahi mātua
The role of a Predator Free Field Coordinator (Possum Elimination Programme) will allocate and
lead field activities associated with the Towards Predator Free Taranaki programme and the
following:
Relevant Council Policy, Strategies and Plans as they relate to Biosecurity and Biodiversity,
including - Regional pest management plans for Taranaki, Council biodiversity strategy, and
the Biosecurity Act 1993
understanding of the programme and will be committed to its implementation at both an
individual and organisational level.

Primary location: Stratford, although travel throughout the region may be required as part of
your daily duties.
