Tikorangi. This report outlines and discusses the …
frameworks, councils must first have a good understanding of the key
concepts and principles that underpin mātauranga Māori and explore how to best
integrate it into its own plans and programmes. To assist in this task the regional council
sector commissioned a report to identify the different methods being used by councils to
support and enable cultural monitoring and the inclusion of mātauranga Māori into
council processes across the sector.
The attached report summarises the findings of a
