During the year, MASL demonstrated a high level of both environmental performance and administrative
compliance with the resource consents.
For reference, in the 2016-2017 year, consent holders were found to achieve a high level of environmental
performance and compliance for 74% of the consents monitored

and bones were processed on site in the rendering plant, producing meal and tallow.
