Proposed Coastal Plan for Taranaki
Pursuant to Clause 5 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act
1991, the Taranaki Regional Council gives notice that it has prepared
a Proposed Coastal Plan for Taranaki and that it is open for submissions.
The Proposed Coastal Plan for Taranaki assists the Council in carrying out its
functions to promote the sustainable management of coastal resources in
Taranaki. Please note as per Part 86B(3) of the

Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to commence the Taranaki Regional Council’s
representation review for the 2019 local authority elections as per the
Landfarm (Wellington Landfarm) located on Brown Road,
Waitara in the Waitara catchment. The consent held by the Company allowed for the discharge of wastes
from hydrocarbon exploration, well work-over, production and storage activities, onto and into land via
landfarming.
This report for the period July 2018 to June 2019 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the
Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the Company’s environmental and consent compliance
