Recommendations
That the Taranaki Regional Council:
a) takes as read and confirms the minutes of the Executive, Audit and Risk Committee
meeting of the Taranaki Regional Council held in the Taranaki Regional Council
chambers, 47 Cloten Road, Stratford on Monday 11 September at 10am
b) notes the recommendations therein were adopted by the Taranaki Regional Council on
Tuesday 19 September 2023.

Iwi and Hapū
Methods
The wider public provided feedback through a public survey and the commercial, rural, community
and key stakeholder groups were invited to a series of workshops held across the region and
virtually. The workshops were a mix of the different stakeholder groups to discrouage ‘group-think’
in vision and goal building.
Iwi and Hapū are also being consulted with on a 1:1 engagement pathway at this stage. We have
utlised a similar structure to the stakeholder workshops
performance development process.

leadership embodying Taranaki Regional Council values in your own

• Lead and oversee the Administration and Logistics team to become a
high performing team by providing clarity of vision and purpose,
expectations and work programmes.
