This report is the Annual Report for the period July 2012-June 2013 by the Taranaki

for the Mangorei Hydroelectric Power Scheme operated originally by Taranaki

This report for the period July 2016 to June 2018 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the
Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the Company’s environmental and consent compliance
performance relating to the dredge campaign during the period under review and the results and
environmental effects of the campaign.
The Company holds three resource
landfill located on Colson Road at
New Plymouth, in the Waiwhakaiho catchment. The landfill is currently filling stage three of
the site which has a design capacity of approximately 800,000 cubic metres. Stages one and

level of environmental performance and compliance with the resource consents held in relation to the
activity.
GPL hold resource consent 10139-1, authorising the
Stratford.
The wellsite lies within the Waingongoro catchment and contains a hydrocarbon producing
well and associated infrastructure.
TAG hold resource consent 9397-1, authorising the discharge of contaminants associated with
hydraulic fracturing activities into land at depths greater than 3,700 m TVDss beneath the
Cheal-C wellsite. The consent was issued by Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) on 19
September 2013 and contains 16 special conditions which set out the requirements that TAG
