The Company held two resource consents which included a total of 22 conditions setting out the
requirements that the Company must satisfy. The Company held resource consent 0351-3 to allow the
discharge of treated effluent to land and into the Rumkeg Creek and consent 5249-2 to allow the discharge
of
located on Palmer Road in the Kapuni catchment during the period under review. This report for the period
July 2016 to June 2017 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council
(the Council) to assess the Company’s environmental and consent compliance performance. The report also
details the results of the monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of the Company’s
activities.
The Company held four resource consents for the production station,
Taranaki Regional Council (the
Council). Between these quarries there are 51 resource consents, authorising water discharges and abstractions,
discharges of cleanfill and stream modifications. This report covers the period July 2014 to June 2016, and will be
the first report to incorporate the monitoring results of this group of quarries into one streamlined report.
There are two biennial streams in which quarry monitoring programmes are reported. This report spans July 2014-
June 2016; a
November 2016 to 30 June 2017 by the Taranaki Regional Council (the
Council) on the monitoring programme associated with resource consents held by WestSide New Zealand
(WestSide). WestSide operates a petrochemical production station situated on Mokoia Road at Mokoia, in
the Manawapou catchment.
The report includes the results and findings of the monitoring programme implemented by the Council in
respect of the consents held by the Company that relate to discharges of water within the Manawapou
many weeks/ months as well as
others.
When I have been through challenges in life I have
frequented this awa to cleanse my self and to get

viable option, the mauri( life force) and the wairua and
integrity of my awa tipuna has been severely
compromised by Remediation and their practices and
this too has been enabled by the Taranaki Regional
Council due to their lack of
rate. However,
land that is used sustainably is less susceptible to erosion. Therefore, practices such as land retirement,
planting vegetation in areas prone to erosion, and managing stock appropriately all work to minimise
pressure on land resources, and ultimately ensure the region’s precious soil resource stays on the land. The
Council monitors sustainable land use in areas of the region prone to erosion, predominantly the eastern hill
country and coastal sand areas. Long-term data
land for the
purposes of dune stabilisation at Albany Road, Patea in the Patea catchment.
Green waste from a Hawera based contractor is transported to the site and discharged over
areas of sandy pasture that have undergone aeolian erosion. The green waste helps trap soil
and sand and upon decomposition, adds nutrients and condition to the sandy soils.
This report for the period July 2013-June 2014 describes the monitoring programme
implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the
catchment. The poultry waste is collected from farms around the Taranaki region and is sold as
a registered fertiliser.
This report for the period July 2018 to June 2019 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the
Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the Company’s environmental and consent compliance
performance during the period under review. The report also details the results of the monitoring
undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of the Company’s
Plymouth. The site is located within the Te Henui catchment and forms part of the eastern
boundary of Pukekura Park.
TTR hold resource consent 7470-1.2 which authorises the take and use of groundwater from a bore for
watering of racetracks and general purposes, at the Taranaki Thoroughbred Racing Club, as well as watering
gardens and other general purposes at Pukekura Park. The consent was issued by the Taranaki Regional
Council (the Council) on 20 June 2017 and contains 9 special conditions
(WestSide) operates a petrochemical production station located on Mokoia Road at
