made with a bore located outside the influence of pumping.
Groundwater level data from the Carrington Road bore GND0508 (Figure 8) which is
screened within the same shallow aquifer as the production bore has also been
provided for the reporting period for comparison, as this bore is considered to be well

Appendix C: Summary of Rainfall
The table below lists a summary of mean monthly and annual rainfall for locations used in
impacts, or,
there were adverse environmental effects arising from activities and there were
grounds for prosecution or an infringement notice.
1.2. Process description
1.2.1. Stratford water supply
The municipal water supply is extracted from the Patea River (main supply) and the
Konini Stream (auxiliary supply) by means of weirs on these watercourses. At the
Cardiff Road water treatment plant the water is flocculated within filters and then
treated with chlorine and fluoride for
the Hangatahua (Stony) River catchment as a permitted activity, as long as the stated
conditions can be met. The conditions have been adopted to ensure any adverse
effects on the environment will be minor. This rule continues the intent of provision
6(2)(iii) of the Local Water Conservation Notice.
