1.2 Site description
The galvanising plant owned and operated by the Company is situated at the corner of
State Highway 3 and Monmouth Road, approximately 1 km north of Stratford (Figure
1). Road access to the site is via Monmouth Road.
The galvanising plant is positioned in
Resources NZ (Kupe) Ltd (Beach Energy) operates a petrochemical production station located
on Inaha Road at Manaia, in the Inaha and Kapuni catchments. The Kupe Production Station processes oil
and gas from the offshore Kupe wells. This report for the period July 2018 to June 2019 describes the
monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) to assess the

Due to roadworks on Morley St, this stop will be unavailable for Route 4
Westown/Hurdon for approximately three weeks from Monday 2 December.
Outbound passengers should use Bus Centre Bay D on Ariki St.
The Morley St road works are expected continue for about three weeks. While they
take place, buses will be detouring via Dawson St and Fulford St.
