Both incidents resulted due to the aging pipeline infrastructure which Methanex have been upgrading and servicing in recent years. During the year, Methanex demonstrated an overall good level of environmental performance and a high level of administrative performance with the resource consents at both the Motunui and Waitara Valley facilities.
