Cloth Nappy Reuse Project *NPDC* *SDC*
New Plymouth District Council and Stratford District council
have been working with Pregnancy Help Taranaki to set up a
nappy bank for reusable cloth nappies.
Pregnancy Help Taranaki is accepting cloth nappies in any
condition for their new cloth nappy bank. Nappies will be sorted
based on their condition with new and gently used nappies
cleaned and made available
leverage existing industry
and skills to create new energy opportunities.
The desire for renewable low emission transport and
heat solutions is also driving international interest
in hydrogen as a clean energy carrier. McKinsey
estimates that Hydrogen Council members and
government investments in hydrogen of USD 20-25
billion per annum could create a self-sustained
market by 2030, turning over more than $2.5 trillion
and creating some 30 million jobs along the
value chain.
