Plymouth City Ward to the New Plymouth Constituency. Under the current boundaries,
approx. 2,200 people reside in the Kaitake community, including the township of Oakura
and Omata, and form part of the North Taranaki Constituency. By making a boundary
change to make the New Plymouth Constituency the same as the New Plymouth City Ward,
it makes
