You’re already playing your part in protecting and
restoring Taranaki’s native biodiversity. But would

Community Champions are everyday people who volunteer to
share their passion and experience of backyard
Arrangements for the 2022 Local Government Elections, to
hear those submitters who wish to speak to their submission and then to consider
changes to the Representation Arrangements.
Recommendations
That the Taranaki Regional Council:
a) receives the memorandum Representation Arrangements for the 2022 Local Government
Elections
b) receives and acknowledges with thanks the submissions received in response to the
Representation Arrangements for the 2022 Local Government Elections and notes
not scope on the site to expand that operation, but it is planned to
contmue it in parallel with the new proposal.

[5] The planning documents involved are the Auckland Council Regional Policy
Statement (ACRPS); the Auckland Council District Plan: Franklin Section (District
Plan); the Auckland Council Regional Plan: Air, Land and Water (ALW); the
Auckland Council Regional Plan: Sediment Control (SCP); and the Proposed
Auckland Unitary Plan (PAUP).

Total M obility information
The Total Mobility scheme aims to improve
community participation for people with
impairments by providing access to appropriate
transport. Assistance is in the form of subsidized
door-to-door transport services wherever Total
Mobility scheme transport providers operate.
There is a provider in Stratford, Hawera, and five
operators in New Plymouth. The scheme is
funded by the Taranaki Regional Council and the
NZ Transport Agency.
