The activity falls under Rule 51 of the Regional Freshwater Plan for Taranaki and is classified as a discretionary activity. The application may be non- notified if no parties are deemed to be adversely affected by the proposed activity. At the time of writing, there were a total of 19 current resource consents for DWI in Taranaki.
