Purpose: To erect, place, use, reconstruct, alter, extend and maintain within the coastal marine area up to six
pipelines connecting an offshore wellhead/platform to the foreshore at mean high water spring, with

Over the last few months, NPDC along with environmental action and sustainability focused groups,
Friends of Pukakura Park and iwi have been working collaboratively to bring about a hub in the North.
The hub gives individuals and organisations a place to work, hold meetings and educational
workshops; allowing the public to see demonstrations in practice.

Two state highways in Taranaki will receive new mobile coverage. Approximately
62kms will be covered across State Highways 3 and 43.
Mobile Black Spot Fund – Tourism Areas
The Taranaki region will receive new mobile coverage for 2 tourism areas:
Strathmore
Tongaporutu
Just north of Taranaki, SH3 at Mokau has also been identified for improved coverage
under the MBSF.
