In each subsection 1 (e.g. section 2.1) there is a general description of the industrial activity and its
discharges, a photograph or map showing the location of the activity, and an outline of the matters covered
by the company’s permit/s.
Subsection 2 presents the results of monitoring
information relating to their use of synthetic nitrogen fertiliser.
The Council’s existing rules regarding fertiliser use remain in force - both before the new rules
come in and afterwards.
What is synthetic nitrogen fertiliser?
Synthetic nitrogen fertiliser means any substance
(whether solid or liquid) that is more than 5%
nitrogen by weight and is applied to any plant or
soil as a source of nitrogen nutrition for plants.
This includes any manufactured urea,
end of each financial year.

The Trust will not acquire or subscribe for any share issues.
Activities for which Compensation is Sought
The Taranaki Regional Council will fund the Trust for the maintenance and long-term development
of the Stadium and the operation of the Trust. There are currently no other activities for which
compensation is sought from the Taranaki Regional Council.
There are currently no activities for which
joins the stream at the main highway.
During the period under review there were several instances of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD)
concentrations in excess of consented limits, with an associated elevation in levels of BOD found in the
receiving waters during one of the wet weather surveys.
In the period under review the instream dissolved zinc and copper concentrations met the appropriate
USEPA acute or chronic exposure guidelines in all 18 samples. None of the 18 instream samples
and contacts available in the region.

The Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA) primarily addresses environmental ‘effects’ which are defined
as positive or adverse, temporary or permanent, past, present or future, or cumulative. Effects may arise in
relation to:
a. the neighbourhood or the wider community around a discharger, and may include cultural and
socio-economic effects;
b. physical effects on the locality, including landscape, amenity and visual effects;
c. ecosystems, including effects on plants, animals, or
while for another 13% of the consents, a good level of environmental performance and
compliance was achieved.
In terms of overall environmental and compliance performance by the consent holder over the last several
years, this report shows that the consent holder’s performance remains at a good or high level.
This report includes recommendations for the 2019-2020 year.
