Zero Waste Events
13. Under the NPDC Solid Waste Management and Minimisation Bylaw of 2019, a
Waste Management and Minimisation Plan is required for any event that
receives Council funding or support and/or is held on Council land. Through this
Bylaw, Council officers
process for managing potential refunds for properties that have been
charged for but do not have, feedlots or a standoff pads. The Council has agreed
to review the cost at the end of the year once all inspections have been complete
on a case by case basis.
2.2 Mr SJ Ruru, Chief Executive will circulate to all Councillors any formal notices of
public statements issued in regards to the Resource Management Act reforms.

the Council’s transport related activities that are not funded, or either funded in part or fully funded from the
National Land Transport Fund.
Key issues and opportunities include:
Ongoing legislative adjustments and evolving strategies to support decarbonisation and improving
transport and safety choices impacting decision making in procurement management.
Packaging contract management strategically to ensure competition and access for local
coming solar maximum in 2025, NEMA has established Space Weather interim
arrangements with Transpower regarding notification and escalation pathways. This will facilitate
managing the risk to critical infrastructure.
Some expected effects of extreme space weather are:
• Induced Currents - Power system voltage irregularities possible, false alarms may be triggered
on some protection devices. Some grid systems may experience complete collapse or
blackouts. Transformers may experience

5.2 Based on projections it is anticipated that Taranaki will reach 90% vaccination rates by
Christmas.
5.3 A waste water sample that was taken on Monday from Stratford has returned a
positive result. This would now indicate that this was not a person passing through
Stratford and that there is a case or cases in Stratford.
5.3 Mayor Volzke, Stratford District Council, raised concerns around the mixed messaging
requirements of the Local Government Act
2002 in relation to decision making. Unless otherwise stated, the recommended option
outlined in each report meets the purpose of local government and:
• Promote the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of communities in
the present and for the future.
• Would not alter significantly the intended level of service provision for any significant
activity undertaken by or on behalf of the Council, or transfer the ownership or control
of a
decision be recognised as not significant in terms of section 76 of the
Local Government Act 2002

Government Act 2002 to the extent necessary in relation to this decision; and in
