The Rainforest Eatery at Pukeiti has launched takeaway picnic lunches for hassle-free family eating.
“There are so many beautiful spots at Pukeiti to kick back and relax, we wanted to make the most of this so we have put together a wholesome picnic option that families can take with them on their exploration.” Says Graeme Cawsey, Rainforest Eatery Operator.
The Lunchboxes are customisable, and include sandwich, fruit kebab and sweet treat options for children, while adults can choose from a range of salad, sandwich and savoury options and of course any of the famous sweet treats.
Bring a picnic rug and make the most of the summer, says Graeme.
“As a parent myself, I know how hard it can be to dine-in with young children, so we wanted to create a way for families to enjoy our food out in the beautiful garden setting away from the bustle of the café”
Lunchbox ingredients are fresh and sourced locally where possible, with no additives or colours, and special dietary requirements can be catered for on request.
“The possibilities are endless and means you can spend a few hours wandering the grounds without getting hungry.”
The Treehouse Lunchboxes start at $10 for children.
Rainforest Eatery is open 7 days per week. 10am – 4pm.
