1.1 Compliance monitoring programme reports and the Resource
Management Act 1991
1.1.1 Introduction
This report is the Annual Report for the period July 2013- June 2014 by the Taranaki
Regional Council (the Council) describes the monitoring programme associated with
the resource consent now held by Waste Remediation Services Limited (WRS). WRS
fully sealed, the road safety and resilience issues will simply
not be properly addressed and the economic benefits not be realised.
A recent report commissioned by the Taranaki Regional Council has confirmed the
economic, tourism and strategic benefits of completing the sealing of the highway.
