Manutahi Road at Manutahi. After a period of cessation in activity, the site became operational
again during the 2013-2014 monitoring period when Waste Remediation Services Limited
(WRS) commenced management of the site. This report for the period July 2013-June 2014
describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council to assess
the Company’s environmental performance during the period under review, and the results
and
monitoring programmes, the Council is recognising the comprehensive meaning of
‘effects’ inasmuch as is appropriate for each activity. Monitoring programmes are not
only based on existing permit conditions, but also on the obligations of the RMA to
assess the effects of the exercise of consents. In accordance with Section 35 of the RMA,
the Council undertakes compliance monitoring for consents and rules in regional
plans, and maintains an overview of the performance of resource users and consent

Council (STDC) operates a municipal wastewater treatment plant (WWTP)
located on Castle Street at Eltham, in the Waingongoro catchment. This report for the period July 2017 to
June 2018 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council (the
Council) to assess STDC’s environmental and consent compliance performance during the period under
review. The report also details the results of the monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental
effects of STDC’s

consent holders in the Hongihongi and Herekawe catchments during the period under
review.
The Hongihongi Stream discharges at the western end of Ngamotu Beach, New Plymouth.
Eight resource consents, which include a total of 42 conditions, are held by six companies
situated on Breakwater Road, Ngamotu Road and Centennial Drive. There are five consents
to
Kowhai-B wellsite, located at 451 Ngatimaru
Road, Tikorangi. The wellsite lies within the Waiau catchment and contains a hydrocarbon
producing well and associated infrastructure.
GPL hold resource consent 9207-1, authorising the discharge of water based hydraulic
fracturing fluids into land at depths greater than 3,000 m TVD beneath the Kowhai-B wellsite.
The consent was issued by Taranaki Regional Council (the Council) on 29 March 2012 and
contains a total of 14 special conditions which set

wellsite during the period under review, and the results and environmental effects of Todd
Energy Limited’s activities. During

Road, Urenui. The wellsite lies within the Onaero catchment and contains two hydrocarbon
producing wells and associated infrastructure.
