Besides discussing the various details of the performance and extent of compliance
by the consent holders during the period under review, this report also assigns a
rating as to each Company’s environmental and administrative performance.
Environmental performance is concerned with actual or likely effects on the
receiving environment from the activities during the monitoring year.
Administrative performance is

Air quality monitoring showed that suspended particulates and dust deposition rates were

During the monitoring period there were a number of occasions where the leachate ponds
overflowed and discharged into the Puremu Stream causing
analysis of sediment cores can give insight into both the drivers
and rates of environmental change over time. In this project, the sediment core analytics
being utilised can reconstruct a lake’s environmental history as far back as 1,000 years
ago. The full range of monitoring carried out at each lake is summarised in Table 2.
