Mileage allowances will be paid for all travel on approved Council business.
Mileage will be paid up to the maximum rate per kilometre as set out in the current Remuneration Authority
Determination.
The allowance payable to a member for eligible travel is:
(a) for a petrol or diesel vehicle,—
(i) 95 cents per kilometre for the first 14,000 kilometres of eligible travel in the determination
term; and
(ii) 34 cents per kilometre after the first 14,000 kilometres of
tailored monitoring programmes, while for another 96 (10%) of the consents a good level of environmental
performance and compliance was achieved. A further 27 (3%) of consents monitored required improvement
in their performance, while the remaining one (<1%) achieved a rating of poor.
In terms of overall environmental and compliance performance by the consent holder over the last several
years, this report shows that the consent holder’s performance in relation to the cleanfilling operation has
Kurapete Stream. There were no impacts evident
further downstream. Overall however, the Kurapete Stream was considered to be in better condition than in
the previous survey.
There were also ongoing issues with the positioning of flowmeters. Water take and discharge rates are now
being telemetered to the Council, but a review of the placement of the flowmeters is still required. The
separate groundwater and surface water monitoring programme has commenced and a report shall be
provided to the

In terms of overall environmental and compliance performance by the Company over the last several years,
Inaha Stream and tributaries did not indicate any recent significant impacts
from TBP operations. Most sampling locations received the same or improved rating compared to the
previous year, with most rated as fair or good. The biomonitoring report concluded that discharges to the
Inaha stream during the monitoring period were not likely to be having a significant adverse effect on the
community of organisms.
Sampling of the groundwater wells in the irrigation areas indicated that irrigation
to assess the
Company’s environmental and consent compliance performance during the period under review. The report
also details the results of the monitoring undertaken and assesses the environmental effects of the
Company’s activities.
During the monitoring period, Ample Group Limited demonstrated a good level of environmental
performance, and poor administrative performance, resulting in a poor rating overall.
