There has been no discharge of refuse to the landfill since 2006. A third party currently holds a consent to discharge chromated copper arsenate (CCA) contaminated soil from the old Fazackerly timber treatment plant site as base fill to the landfill for re-contouring purposes3 (under the supervision of SDC).
