Taranaki's happy travellers

A recent customer satisfaction survey across our Connector, Citylink and Southlink services has shown positive results.

Connector

The Connector runs four return services from Hāwera to New Plymouth each weekday, with extensions from and to Opunake on the first and final trips respectively.

All passengers surveyed were satisfied overall with the service as well as the availability of information about timetables and routes, with 93% reporting they found the driver to be helpful.

Of those surveyed, more than 70% reported that the buses consistently ran on time according to the schedule, and agreed that there were enough service runs, while 93% advised they had no trouble getting on and off the bus and felt safe while travelling.

Citylink

All passengers surveyed were very satisfied overall with the Citylink services in and around New Plymouth.

Of those surveyed, 99% felt safe and comfortable while travelling and said drivers were helpful, and 97% agreed that the buses ran on time and were also happy with the time it took to reach their destinations. They also felt the buses were easy to enter and exit.

More 90% of the surveyed passengers agreed that enough seats were available and timetables and route information were easily accessible.

More than 80% believe the Citylink service provides value for money and feel the number of service runs is adequate. While 24% believed they did not get enough information on service delays and disruptions, 60% felt it had never affected them.

Southlink

Allof the passengers surveyed felt very satisfied with the Opunake-Hāwera service overall.  All of them also reported that they felt safe, that the bus ran on time, there were enough seats and the driver was helpful. They also felt they were getting value for money.

Eighty percent of those surveyed said they were able to enter and exit the bus with ease. Sixty percent were happy with the number of service runs but 40% felt there could be more.

Only a few passengers were available to complete the survey on the Waverley-Hāwera service but it was good to note that feedback in all areas was extremely positive.
