Three Southlink bus services are affected by the Easter and ANZAC Day public holidays, and will run on different days as a result.
Southlink bus services run one or two days a week in South Taranaki and Coastal Taranaki. They are operated by Weir Brothers (south of Hāwera) and Pickering Motors (north of Hāwera) under contract to the Taranaki Regional Council.
Temporary changes during the coming holiday period are:
- The usual Friday Opunake-New Plymouth service will run on Thursday 18 April instead of Good Friday, 19 April.
- The usual Thursday Opunake-Hāwera service will run on Wednesday 24 April instead of ANZAC Day, Thursday 25 April.
- The usual Thursday Waverley-Pātea-Hāwera service will run on Friday 26 April instead of ANZAC Day, Thursday 25 April.
