to have water pooling around its
surface cover as there was no grade on the concrete slab installed around it. This was
resulting in water entering the subsurface cellar and pooling around the top of the bore
standpipe. A recommendation was made in the inspection notice that this issue be
addressed.

No abstraction occurred during the inspection visit. It was found that the access cover
to observation bore GND2104 had been sealed shut during road resealing works and
side of
Normanby Road to divert water via a 1.8 m diameter tunnel to the powerhouse on the
southern side of the road. The water was then discharged from the powerhouse back
in to the Waingongoro River [Figure 1].
5. The new scheme would essentially be the same as the old one. The proposed
recommissioning would involve taking water from the pond behind the weir, through
a new screened intake structure to the existing tunnel, which would be relined. From
the tunnel, which crosses under

located on Palmer Road in the Kapuni catchment during the period under review. This report for the period
July 2016 to June 2017 describes the monitoring programme implemented by the Taranaki Regional Council

The Maui Production Station separates the various hydrocarbon components, mainly
by distillation. The production station supplies natural gas to the national grid and
liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is transported off-site by road tankers. Condensate is
piped to storage tanks at Omata.
Facilities at the Maui Production Station include: an administration building and
workshop which accommodates the control room on the upper floor; glycol trains and
oil heaters located in the
Waiongana Flats Ltd, Waiongana Flats Ltd B, Ryan Forest Remnant,
Monk Road Bush, Wells Cross Rd, Wellington Bush, Larcom's Homestead, The

region offering a suitable climate, good forestry sites
and a well-established roading system and port facility.

The staged approach provides a clear road map to how we can achieve a circular economy. The
timeframes are probably feasible if there is urgency given to acting as soon as possible, given the
status of current resources and infrastructure.
