These Coastal Area School Years 7-10 students and teacher Joel Dodd wrote a book called Shades of Green. It's about the state of our environment and how we can all change our ways to be moe environmentally efficient. Topics include global warming, transport, food, clothing and waste management. The effort earned them one of this year's Taranaki Regional Council Environmental Awards, which was presented by the Council Chairman, David MacLeod (second from right).
