Riparian planting prize draw

Order your riparian plants today and go into one of these free prize draws.

The Taranaki Regional Council with the support of Fonterra Co-Operative Group Ltd and Revital Fertilisers is offering a major prize draw to promote riparian planting in Taranaki.

Order your riparian plants through the Council's bulk plant supply scheme by 1 March 2010 and  be in to win. Entry is free and all plan holders who order more than 300 riparian plants with the Council will be automatically entered. Multiples of 300 plants qualify for multiple entries. (Plan holders with Taranaki Tree Trust funding must order 400 plants per entry)

Fonterra suppliers go in the draw for:

  • 700 riparian plants and associated preplanting preparation, planting and maintenance (value $3,500); or
  • Goods to the value of $2,500 from an RD1 Store in Taranaki.

plus

  • 80 $50 RD1 vouchers to the first 80 landholders who order 400 or more riparian plants. (NOTE: Planholders with Taranaki Tree Trust funding are not eligible for this prize package).

All other plan holders go in the draw for:

  • $1000 worth of riparian plants and $2000 worth of Revital Fertiliser.

Conditions of entry

  1. All plan holders who order riparian plants through the Council's bulk plant supply scheme are eligible to enter one of the two prize draws.
  2. To be eligible planholders must place an order for the qualifying number  of riparian plants by 1 March 2010.
  3. A single order by a Fonterra supplier may qualify for both the RD1 vouchers and the major prize draw.
  4. Orders for multiples of the qualifying number of plants will qualify for multiple entries.
  5. Prize winners will be notified by 17 March 2010.
  6. The determination of the winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. The presentation of the major prizes to the winners may be used by the Taranaki Regional Council, Fonterra or Revital Fertilisers for publicity/promotional purposes.
  8. Prizes are not transferable nor redeemable for cash.
  9. The prizes of riparian plants may be staged over consecutive planting seasons.
  10. Staff and associates of the Taranaki Regional Council, Fonterra Co-Operative Group Ltd and Revital Fertilisers are not eligible to enter.
