Regional Walkways and Cycleways Strategy for Taranaki

The Taranaki Regional Council has prepared a Regional Walkways and Cycleways Strategy for Taranaki.

The purpose of the strategy is to:

• To promote walking and cycling in the region; and
• To identify current and possible future walkways and cycleways as part of an integrated, region-wide network which connects Taranaki’s natural environment and provides linkages with other walking, cycling and roading infrastructure, as well as population centres.
