Pest Management Strategy for Taranaki: Plants - published 2007
The Pest Management Strategy for Taranaki: Plants became operative on 1 March 2007. The Strategy sets out management programmes in relation to 27 harmful plant species. For each of these, the Council has identified the objective to be achieved for the duration of the Strategy and the principal means (tactics) to achieve that objective. Rules are included setting out land occupier obligations and standards to destroy pest plants and which ban the sale, distribution and propagation of these plants. Hard copy: $20 + GST.
